Schmit plans on attending the next Minneiska City Council Meeting. He
has expressed support in our ongoing attempts to improve the Minneiska
boat landing and access. If you have an opinion on the current status of
the boat landing and access and wish to voice your concerns please plan
on attending the meeting.
NOTICE OF MAIL BALLOT PROCEDURES
Wabasha and Winona Counties, Minnesota
To the voters of the
City of Minneiska:
City of Minneiska has elected to vote by mail ballot procedure in
statewide elections as authorized under Minnesota Statute 204B.45.
2016 statewide elections, the dates and corresponding dates that ballots
will be mailed to all registered voters are:
Ballot mailing dates
June 24 - July 26
Ballot mailing dates
September 23 - October 25
voter registered by July 19, 2016 for the Statewide Primary Election,
and/or October 18, 2016 for the Statewide General Election will be
mailed a ballot automatically.
Eligible voters not
pre-registered by the dates noted, or pre-registered voters wishing to
to receive their ballots at a temporary address may contact the
Auditor/Treasurer of the County they reside in by phone, mail or in
person for an absentee ballot application.
All ballots may be returned by
mail (a postage prepaid envelope is included when the ballots are
mailed), or may be delivered in person, or delivered by a designated
agent to the Auditor/Treasurer’s office of the County that the resident
resides in. Ballots must be
received no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day in order to be counted.
All mail ballots will be counted at the Auditor/Treasurer’s
Office of Wabasha and Winona County.
